Meet Blythe: A Doll with Many Roles
In addition to being a responsible pet owner, Blythe can take on other personas with the help of the pet jet's many accessories. A pilot's hat, a headband, or headphones leave her role in the story completely up to your little girl's imagination. For her journey, Blythe can be strapped in with the seatbelt--easy for little fingers to work--into the cockpit to pilot the plane. She can also choose to join her bulldog in the back to watch movies or eat her salad.
When it's time for Blythe to take a rest, an included doll stand offers a great way to keep her hair smooth and her removable outfit and shoes in one place.
Travel In Style with a Plane that Opens
The side of this plane opens and closes, letting your daughter pack in everything Blythe and her dog need for their next adventure. Inside the plane, background stickers show other passengers that Blythe and her pet can interact with on their journey. A rolling plane cart can bring meals when it's time to eat, and five total chairs, not including the cockpit, allow Blythe to bring some friends along.
Outside the plane, a luggage cart conveniently fits her bulldog's dog crate and Blythe's suitcase. A doggie rest stop, with a fire hydrant and working door, gives her pet a chance to take a pit stop before the plane takes off.
Tons of Tiny Pieces for Creative Play
Young girls will enjoy the many intricacies of the set. There is a bone for the dog, a comb for Blythe, food and drinks for both, and many other small pieces that can be moved around or packed in the suitcase or food cart. Additionally, the larger of the two televisions switches channels at the twist of the rotating dial.
To keep everything together during transit, this set is packed with lots of string and plastic rubber bands. It took our testers a significant amount of time to get all the parts out the package, the strings out of the doll's hair, and the wheels free and able to turn. Parents should set aside some time to help with set-up.
